CONCERT III

Vistas & Virtuosity

Saturday, May 23
5:00 PM
O'Rourke Family Estate

An all-inclusive evening of music, wine, and dinner in partnership with O’Rourke Family Estate, one of the Valley’s most talked about wineries.

Visiting O’Rourke Estates is an unbelievable experience. Built right into the mountainside, it has monumental architecture and sweeping vistas… and luckily for us, a Grand Piano! To match the grandeur of this space, we have selected music full of soul, passion, yearning, and excitement.

Jazz guitarist and film composer Graham Campbell wrote The Compass Suite in 2024 as a set of vignettes depicting adventure and beauty in nature. The great Tchaikovsky is honoured by his student Arensky in a set of variations for the unusual combination of violin, viola, and 2 cellos. The simple theme, tinged with melancholy, is developed extensively so that one feels to have experienced an entire life. Finally, the first Piano Quartet of Johannes Brahms has it all: arching melodies, dramatic tension, moments of tenderness and triumph, and a rousing “Gypsy” Rondo which has made generations of audiences leap to their feet.

Tickets for this event include concert, wine, and a set menu dinner at Row 188.

Tickets will be available for purchase soon.

O’Rourke Family Estate rises from the granite of Lake Country with contemporary architecture, clean lines, and purposeful sightlines across vineyards and lake. The winery and its underground cave network are built directly into the hillside, using stone, wood, and glass to balance modern design with the raw beauty of the site. Sculptural spaces such as the grand lobbies, crush pad, and amphitheatre create a seamless flow between production, hospitality, and landscape so guests move naturally from vineyard to cellar to table.
