🌟 A cathedral turns into a concert hall for one night only, with a glass of complimentary local wine 🍷

Join us for the launch of the 4th annual ClassicalValley festival, pairing local Okanagan wine with music played by world-class musicians. If you haven't yet experienced the magical atmosphere of St. Michael's cathedral then you're in for a treat - the acoustics are magnificent.

This is the perfect concert for newcomers to classical music and connoisseurs alike, taking you on a journey through 200 years of musical traditions across Europe. Musicians included Prix Opus Discovery of the Year pianist Meagan Milatz, clarinet superstar Todd Cope of the Montreal Symphony, and members of the internationally-acclaimed Rolston String Quartet. You will be inspired by the melodies of Schumann, Debussy, Prokofiev, and Boccherini.

WINE

Our wine for this concert comes from Lightning Rock Winery down in Summerland. Their wines feature in top Vancouver restaurants, and they’re particularly known for their excellent Pinot Noir.

We’ve chosen to present two variations of the cosmopolitan Pinot Noir grape, both as a traditional red wine and in a sparkling champagne-style (for if you’re in a celebratory mood - we definitely will be 🥳).
